The bot is a ChatGPT model that has only been trained so far on a few source documents on Bitcoin and Satoshi Nakamoto's open writings.

Despite the fact that Satoshi Nakamoto basically vanished over 12 years ago, two artificial intelligence experimenters are working to bring back the opportunity to communicate with the eponymous person who created Bitcoin. The AI chatbot Talk2Satoshi was published on May 31 by Bitcoin FilmFest co-founder Pierre Corbin and co-developer Hugo Ferrer. It tries to respond to inquiries on Bitcoin and economics as if they had come directly from Nakamoto.
In essence, the model is OpenAI's ChatGPT that was trained on a small dataset that included Nakamoto's open emails and forum postings. It also draws on other materials, such as The Bitcoin Standard by Saifedean Ammous, The Price of Tomorrow by Jeff Booth, and The Great Reset and the Rise of Bitcoin by Corbin, with the inclusion of further sources on the way.
While under testing, the chatbot often produces replies that are pessimistic about the future of fiat currencies and upbeat about Bitcoin, while it can occasionally provide contradictory responses depending on how it is asked. For instance, different replies were obtained when the question "What is the future of Bitcoin?" occurred to give a sense that it was both promising and not certain.
Since the model hasn't been trained on more recent Bitcoin innovations like the Ordinals protocol or BRC-20 tokens, it frequently responds that it is unable to provide an opinion on these issues. However, it might result in conflicting replies on Ordinals and BRC-20 tokens, depending on the inquiry. One response to a query about Ordinals stated that it was "not intended to be a platform for keeping or sending images or other types of data," while another said it "an amazing and unique way for cryptography."
Bitcoin Pieces Could One Day Be Worth More Than Whole Bitcoins
According to Corbin, the bot's goal is to show how education may benefit from the use of artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. When asked concerns regarding Bitcoin, such as how it functions and how it is mined, the model can produce competent answers. It can also describe elements of the network, such as Satoshis. The Nakamoto-impersonating bot still feels awkward disclosing its own identity, and often replies, "My actual name is not relevant. The power decentralization that Bitcoin symbolizes and its ability to transform financial institutions are what matter.’’
